Brad Weiss, D.D.S.

Dr. Brad Weiss' (most of his patients call him Brad) passion for beautiful, functional dentistry was ignited by his childhood dentist and has been fueled by excellent mentors, many of whom are considered the finest clinicians in dentistry. He has turned around and is now a mentor to other dentists in the community as a staff member at Evanston Hospital since 2004, a member of the Visiting Faculty at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida since 2008, and a co-facilitator of a Vancouver, B.C. dental study group since 2010.

Brad knows that many people are tired of being treated like items on an assembly line and would rather receive personal attention. He has a genuine interest in each patient he treats and will always take the time to listen to you. Part of his desire to provide excellent dental care is his preference of including you in the planning of your treatment. Patient education is always a high priority and he likes to work as a team with each patient, attending to your goals and offering his experienced recommendations.

Brad was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He continued his soccer career at Indiana University in Bloomington where he was a member of the Big Ten Championship teams of 1991 and 1992. He earned a B.A. in Biology and moved on to Indiana University's School of Dentistry in Indianapolis where he was awarded the Dentsply International Merit Award for Prosthodontics. Brad's childhood dentist, Dr. Mark Stetzel inspired him to consider dentistry because he created a practice of friends as patients through individualized, excellent, comprehensive care and was able to maintain balance in his life.

Following dental school, Brad practiced in Kenilworth and Winnetka and gained experience with Lasers and Computer Aided Design and Machined Dentistry. He was a delegate for the Illinois State Dental Society from 2006-2008. Brad is currently on the Membership Committee for the Chicago Dental Society.

When not in the office, Brad is also the Vocational Services Chairman of the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club where he enjoys coordinating the Club's participation in Northwestern University's Campus Kitchens program.

Brad enjoys hockey, yoga, tennis, cooking, and, most of all, making memories with his wife Tiffany, and their three boys Braden, Charlie and Nolan. The Weisses live in Evanston.

Fun fact: Although Brad was named the 1990 Gatorade Player of the Year (Indiana's Mr. Soccer) his wife Tiffany accomplished something he could not. Her 1991 Libertyville team won the Illinois State Championship.
